The Story Show @ Little Theatre

When:

Theme: Grief

The Story Show is produced and directed by Heather Westberg King and will take place at New London’s Little Theatre Auditorium.

This Story Show’s proceeds will be donated to Wild Haven, a sportsman’s youth club created in memory of William and Harrison Dahl.

Lara Dahl, Will and Harry’s mom, has submitted a piece of writing that Heather will be reading on her behalf.
Please join us in honoring the memory of two boys that impacted so many in our community with their infectious joy and love for the outdoors.

Eight or nine story-tellers will hit the stage, get behind that podium, face the microphone and their nerves, and read their true stories of grief to the crowd. If you’re familiar with The Moth live storytelling events, you have the right idea. A story show is a ride through our common human experiences, a chance to connect and come together. The show’s stories will be moving and inspiring. When a story is read aloud in front of an audience, with the writer’s own voice, something magical happens. Beauty will flow, touching each mind and heart in the audience.

In the end, a Story Show is difficult to explain. One needs to experience it to fully understand.
So please join the growing crowd of faithful Story Show-ers. We’re fun, and maybe even truly inspiring.
